Bridge-it-Groups (BiG): ACF's home Bible study groups meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month either in the afternoon or evening. The next BiG Sunday is the 26th February. To join a group or find out more information please speak to Malcolm Webb.

Women's Fellowship: Meets fortnightly at ACF on a Monday morning for Bible study at 9.30am. The group will next meet on the 27th February. The theme this term is "Under the shelter of God's promises" by Sheila Walsh. For more details see Tracy Taylor.

Bible Study & Prayer: Tuesdays from 7.30pm-9.00pm. Our Pastor Vijay Pillai is doing a Bible study series on the book of Judges. After the study the Young Adults group will lead us in a time of prayer.

mainly music: is a fun music time for parents /caregivers & their preschool children followed by coffee and freeplay session. It meets every Thursday from 9.45am -11.00am. If you are interested in coming along please speak to Donna Cuthill.

Youth: The Step, Youth Cafe (S1-S6) is on a Mon, Wed and Fri Lunchtime from 12.30-1.20pm at ACF. Fuel (P7-S3) Youth Cafe meets Fortnightly on a Friday Night from 7-9pm it will next meet on 9th March. Diesel (S3-S6) Weekly Youth Bible Study is on a Monday Night 7-9pm at ACF. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month after the evening service all the youth meet around at the Webbs from 7.45-9pm for a social. It is open to anyone in P7-S6. Partners in the Gospel: Is a conference taking place at Deeside Christian Fellowship in Milltimber. There is
a Women’s Evening of fellowship and worship on Tuesday, 13th March, 7:30pm, Sharon James will speak on learning to trust God ‘In Trouble and In Joy’.
An all-day Conference for all who teach the Word in a wide variety of contexts, from Sunday services to small group Bible study, on Wednesday, 14th March, 9:30am-4:30pm, with keynote speaker Andy Gemmill on ‘Your Kingdom Come – Preaching from the Gospels’ and guest speakers Edward Lobb and Sharon James.

‘Parenting Unplugged’, led by Mark and Lindsay Melluish, New Wine Ministries. This event will take place on Friday 16 March, 7.30pm – 9.30pm, at City Church, Gilcomston Park, Aberdeen AB25 1PN.
Topics covered will include:
· Having a vision for your family
· Being available for your children
· How to set boundaries that are fair, appropriate and realistic
· How to encourage your children and to help them to feel that they are loved and accepted
· How to listen to your children and to communicate effectively with them
There is no charge for the evening but, for planning purposes, it is helpful if anyone intending to come along could register via the City Church website.

Parenting Course training seminar: Is being run in conjunction with Parenting Unplugged. On Sat 17th March, 9.30am-12.30pm at City Church. The course costs £10, please book your place through the City church website http://www.citychurchaberdeen.org/

"The Aberdeen Passion - One Life Given" Quiz night! The Aberdeen Passion will be holding a fundraising quiz night at Bridge of Don Baptist Church, on Friday 16th March 2012, at 7pm. Teams should have between 6 to 8 people and can either be made up on the night, or folks can come along already in a team. Tickets cost £5.00 per person, will include a refreshment and can be ordered by emailing quiz@aberdeenpassion.com or calling 01224 826256

"The Aberdeen Passion - One Life Given" will be performed Friday 6th and Saturday 7th April 2012 in the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. The production, involving over a hundred performers from Aberdeen and the North-East, is a contemporary adaptation of the last few days of Jesus before his crucifixion. The Annual Baptist Assembly: The Baptist Assembly will be returning to London from 4 – 6 May. The whole event costs just £95 up until 29 February. Visit the Assembly website www.baptistassembly.org.uk for further information.

Storehouse: Each month we collect non perishable food items to help support Local and Global projects, and organisations. Please leave items in the red Storehouse buckets in the foyer on Sunday mornings, thank you. For more information see Joy Gillespie.

Recycling Bins: If you have any unwanted curtains, bedding, soft toys, shoes, belts, handbags, old toner/ink cartridges and any clean dry clothing (good quailty or worn out!) or unwanted mobile phones please bring them along to ACF (remember to clear the memory on the mobiles!) Please don't bring: quilts, pillows, dirty or wet clothing, mats, carpets, off cuts or single shoes. We will be establishing a regular collection which raises money for the church by selling the items for recycling. Please contact Joy for more information.

Tearfund - One Voice, 24 hour Global poverty prayer movement from 8pm 24th Feb- 8pm 25th Feb at Queens Park Baptist Church, Glasgow. Come and unite with hundreds of Christians with round the clock worship, celebration, intercession and refective prayer along with a cafe and chill out zone. ‘Parenting Unplugged’, led by Mark and Lindsay Melluish, New Wine Ministries
This event will take place on Friday 16 March, 7.30pm – 9.30pm, at City Church, Gilcomston Park, Aberdeen AB25 1PN.
Topics covered will include:
· Having a vision for your family
· Being available for your children
· How to set boundaries that are fair, appropriate and realistic
· How to encourage your children and to help them to feel that they are loved and accepted
· How to listen to your children and to communicate effectively with them
There is no charge for the evening but, for planning purposes, it is helpful if anyone intending to come along could register via the City Church website.

Parenting Course training seminar: Is being run in conjunction with Parenting Unplugged. On Sat 17th March, 9.30am-12.30pm at City Church. The course costs £10, please book your place through the City church website www.citychurchaberdeen.org

The production, involving over a hundred performers from Aberdeen and the North-East, is a contemporary adaptation of the last few days of Jesus before his crucifixion. Storehouse: Each month we collect non perishable food items to help support Local and Global projects, and organisations. Please leave items in the red Storehouse buckets in the foyer on Sunday mornings, thank you. For more information see Joy Gillespie.

Recycling Bins: If you have any unwanted curtains, bedding, soft toys, shoes, belts, handbags, old toner/ink cartridges and any clean dry clothing (good quailty or worn out!) or unwanted mobile phones please bring them along to ACF (remember to clear the memory on the mobiles!) Please don't bring: quilts, pillows, dirty or wet clothing, mats, carpets, off cuts or single shoes. We will be establishing a regular collection which raises money for the church by selling the items for recycling. Please contact Joy for more information.

Please don't bring: quilts, pillows, dirty or wet clothing, mats, carpets, off cuts or single shoes. We will be establishing a regular collection which raises money for the church by selling the items for recycling. Please contact Joy for more information.

Choices: will be fundraising from ‘The Charity Shop’ in George Street from the 23 – 29 January 2012. We are looking for unwanted goods to raise funds for our developing Relationships & Sex Education work. If you have items which you would like to donate or if you have any free time the week beginning the 23 January and would like to assist us in the shop please contact Joy Gillespie.

Storehouse: Each month we collect non perishable food items to help support Local and Global projects, and organisations. Please leave items in the red Storehouse buckets in the foyer on Sunday mornings, thank you. For more information see Joy Gillespie.

Recycling Bins: If you have any unwanted curtains, bedding, soft toys, shoes, belts, handbags, old toner/ink cartridges and any clean dry clothing (good quailty or worn out!) or unwanted mobile phones please bring them along to ACF (remember to clear the memory on the mobiles!) Please don't bring: quilts, pillows, dirty or wet clothing, mats, carpets, off cuts or single shoes. We will be establishing a regular collection which raises money for the church by selling the items for recycling. Please contact Joy for more information.

Sunday Worship at 10.30am: (No Communion) Happy Christmas! This is an all age Christmas family service. Our Pastor Vijay Pillai will be bringing us God's word and Brian Boyd will be leading us in our time of worship.

Bible Study & Prayer: Tuesdays from 7.30pm-9.00pm. We will next meet after the holidays on 10th January.

Prayer Wall: Please be reminded that we have a Prayer wall on our website (click on the prayer link at the top of our welcome page!). Please use this to post any requests that you may have, that you wish others to support you in prayer.

Youth: All Youth Activities have stopped over the Christmas Holidays. The Step, Youth Cafe (S1-S6) is on a Mon, Wed and Fri Lunchtime from 12.30-1.20pm at ACF and will resume 9th January. Fuel (P7-S3) Youth Cafe meets Fortnightly on a Friday Night from 7-9pm it will resume 13th January. Diesel (S3-S6) Weekly Youth Bible Study is on a Monday Night 7-9pm at ACF and will resume on 9th January. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month after the evening service all the youth meet around at the Webbs from 7.45-9pm for a social we will next meet together on the 15th January. It is open to anyone in P7-S6. For more details on any of the youth activities speak to Gillian MacKenzie.

Future Events at ACF:

Bridge-it-Groups (BiG): ACF's home Bible study groups meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month either in the afternoon or evening. The next BiG Sunday is the 8th January. To join a group or find out more information please speak to Malcolm Webb.

Sunday Evening Services at 6.30pm: There are evening services at ACF on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month. The next service will be on the 15th January.

Women's Fellowship: Meets fortnightly at ACF on a Monday morning for Bible study at 9.30am. The group will next meet after the Christmas Holidays. The theme this term is "Under the shelter of God's promises" by Sheila Walsh. For more details see Tracy Taylor.

mainly music: is a fun music time for parents /caregivers & their preschool children followed by coffee and freeplay session. It meets every Thursday from 9.45am -11.00am. It has stopped over the Christmas period and will resume next year. If you are interested in coming along please speak to Donna Cuthill.

Men's Group: Meets fortnightly on a Thursday at 7.30pm for Bible study at ACF. It will next meet after the Christmas holidays. For more information contact James Packham.

Young Adults: Meets fortnightly on Thursdays at 7pm at ACF. This term they are doing a Student Alpha. They will next meet after the Christmas holidays. For more information speak to Calum MacKenzie or Sarah Packham.
