LOVE, ST VALENTINE
Thankyou to those who supported this event - OUR NEW TOTAL RAISED FOR OUR SISTERS WHO ARE BEING PERSECUTED IS OVER £1000.
STOREHOUSE MARCH/APRIL 2011
This months we are collecting old wearable bras - this will generate some money for local charities and the bras are sent to E and W Africa to help sustain small businesses there and benefit local women.
A21 CAMPAIGN - TO RAISE AWARENESS & STOP HUMAN TRAFFICKING
This will be our next focus following on from 24/3 prayer. There will be more information in June but our storehouse for July & August will be to collect small items of beauty products that we can post to girls who have been rescued and are in a safe house in Greece. If you are able to start buying a wee thing or two before then that'd be great.

RECENT NEWS WITH THOSE WE SUPPORT:-

Thanks to all who sent a christmas card to christian prisoners. Money raised went towards Barnabas appeal for victims of the
flood in Pakistan.
*UPDATE* (22/02/11) - SEVERAL PRISONERS HAVE BEEN RELEASED. See Tracy for updates.
Thankyou to those who contributed to 'spend a penny' - especially the DJ team. Through tearfund and CORD we have bought two toilets in Burundi (check out certificates in toilets!).
The Seimat children loved recieving their T shirts from DJ team
and all the toys etc. The language helpers for Beata and Theresa were so impressed with our DJ team video and attempts at Seimat.

Scroll down for a link to last years presentation of our involvement generally in mission.

Our passion is to heed the "great commission" of Jesus Christ and make a difference globally through Christian mission. We support several ministries who see Aberdeen as their mission. We also support individuals and organisations abroad who touch the world with transforming love of Jesus.

OUR GLOBAL PARTNERS
Beata Wozna (pictured on the left) in partnership with Theresa Wilson (right) are working with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea. They are translating the Bible for the first time into the Seimat language (a people group in the Ninigo Islands). If you would like to be involved in supporting them, please contact us at office@aberdeencf.com and request the attention of Tracy Taylor.

We also have the privilege of supporting the ministry of Barnabas Fund as they draw the world's attention to the plight of persecuted Christians throughout the world. Please contact us at office@aberdeencf.com and request the attention of Beth Wilson for more information. The church has also established links with several ministries and individuals in this past year.

We have been privileged to support several workers who are active in the ministries of The Slavic Gospel Association, India Village Ministries, Friends International, Tear Fund, CAMEO and Missionary Aviation Fellowship. Contact us at office@aberdeencf.com if you wish to be involved in any of these ministries through the church.
