Sunday Worship at 10.30am: (Communion) Our Pastor Vijay Pillai will be bringing us God's word and Malcolm Webb will be leading us in our time of worship. After the morning service there will be a fellowship lunch in the coffee hall.

Kids and Youth Activities from 11am-12pm during the Morning Service:
DJ Team:
Age 3 - P1 are in the new DJ Team room (by the creche)
P2-3 and P4-P6 are in the coffee room
*Parents, please pick your children up after the service*
Ignite: P7 - S2 Bible Study meets in the Youth Room (coloured glass brick room)

Sunday Evening Services at 6.30pm: There are evening services at ACF on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month. As there is a 5th Sunday this month there will be a fellowship lunch after the morning service on the 29th Jan and no evening service.

Women's Fellowship: Meets fortnightly at ACF on a Monday morning for Bible study at 9.30am. The group will next meet on the 30th January. The theme this term is "Under the shelter of God's promises" by Sheila Walsh. For more details see Tracy Taylor.

Bible Study & Prayer: Tuesdays from 7.30pm-9.00pm. Our Pastor Vijay Pillai is doing a Bible study series on the book of Judges. After the study our Leadership Team will lead us in a time of prayer.

Prayer Wall: Please be reminded that we have a Prayer wall on our website (click on the prayer link at the top of our welcome page!). Please use this to post any requests that you may have, that you wish others to support you in prayer.

mainly music: is a fun music time for parents /caregivers & their preschool children followed by coffee and freeplay session. It meets every Thursday from 9.45am -11.00am. If you are interested in coming along please speak to Donna Cuthill.

Young Adults: Meets fortnightly on Thursdays at 7pm at ACF. This term they are doing a Student Alpha. They will next meet on 2nd February. For more information speak to Calum MacKenzie or Sarah Packham.

Youth: The Step, Youth Cafe (S1-S6) is on a Mon, Wed and Fri Lunchtime from 12.30-1.20pm at ACF. Fuel (P7-S3) Youth Cafe meets Fortnightly on a Friday Night from 7-9pm it will next meet on 10th February. Diesel (S3-S6) Weekly Youth Bible Study is on a Monday Night 7-9pm at ACF. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month after the evening service all the youth meet around at the Webbs from 7.45-9pm for a social. It is open to anyone in P7-S6. For more details on any of the youth activities speak to Gillian MacKenzie.

Bridge-it-Groups (BiG): ACF's home Bible study groups meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month either in the afternoon or evening. The next BiG Sunday is the 12th February. To join a group or find out more information please speak to Malcolm Webb.

Men's Group: Meets fortnightly on a Thursday at 7.30pm for Bible study at ACF. It will next meet on the 9th February. For more information contact James Packham.

Ministry Team Leaders Forum and Meal: The forum is on Sat 25th Feb from 9.30am-12pm and the meal is on Sat 10th March from 7-9.30pm, both are at ACF. See Vijay for more details.

Baptismal Service: There will be a baptismal service on Sunday 11th March. If anyone is interested in being baptised please speak to our Pastor Vijay Pillai.

Easter Services at ACF:
Good Friday: 6th April at 7pm
All age Easter Family Service: 8th April at 10.30am

LZ7 Concert: LZ7 are coming to ACF on Friday the 11th May. Tickets will go on sale soon!

Step Out 2nd-6th July and 8th July all age family service
Kids club: For Age 4 - P6 from 10am-12pm Monday - Friday. There will be games, craft, music, drama and Bible Stories.
Youth Cafe: For P7- S6 from 7pm-9pm Monday - Friday with themed nights, group Bible studies and of course messy games!
Step Out family Service - Sunday 8th July at 10.30am come and see what we have been up to all week!

Imagine: 17th - 22nd July
For P7-S6 spend a week together under canvas at the Thainstone Centre Inverurie, getting a bigger picture of God, our world, the Church and ourselves. You don't want to miss it!

Future events outwith ACF:

Tearfund - One Voice, 24 hour Global poverty prayer movement from 8pm 24th Feb- 8pm 25th Feb at Queens Park Baptist Church, Glasgow. Come and unite with hundreds of Christians with round the clock worship, celebration, intercession and refective prayer along with a cafe and chill out zone. Come for an hour or stay for the whole day. For more information contact Gillian MacKenzie.

‘Parenting Unplugged’, led by Mark and Lindsay Melluish, New Wine Ministries
This event will take place on Friday 16 March, 7.30pm – 9.30pm, at City Church, Gilcomston Park, Aberdeen AB25 1PN.
Topics covered will include:
· Having a vision for your family
· Being available for your children
· How to set boundaries that are fair, appropriate and realistic
· How to encourage your children and to help them to feel that they are loved and accepted
· How to listen to your children and to communicate effectively with them
There is no charge for the evening but, for planning purposes, it is helpful if anyone intending to come along could register via the City Church website.

"The Aberdeen Passion - One Life Given" will be performed Friday 6th and Saturday 7th April 2012 in the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. The production, involving over a hundred performers from Aberdeen and the North-East, is a contemporary adaptation of the last few days of Jesus before his crucifixion. News:

Storehouse: Each month we collect non perishable food items to help support Local and Global projects, and organisations. Please leave items in the red Storehouse buckets in the foyer on Sunday mornings, thank you. For more information see Joy Gillespie.

Recycling Bins: If you have any unwanted curtains, bedding, soft toys, shoes, belts, handbags, old toner/ink cartridges and any clean dry clothing (good quailty or worn out!) or unwanted mobile phones please bring them along to ACF (remember to clear the memory on the mobiles!) Please don't bring: quilts, pillows, dirty or wet clothing, mats, carpets, off cuts or single shoes. We will be establishing a regular collection which raises money for the church by selling the items for recycling. Please contact Joy for more information.
